Abstract
The European continent is unique in its historical, cultural, economic, and natural features. The contributions of the nations populating Europe to the development of human civilization have no historical analogue. Also unique is the contribution of the European region to the origins and development of the global ecological problem and to finding means and ways of resolving it.
