Abstract
-
This paper offers a comprehensive analysis of the leadership style of Lawrence Edward Page, co-founder and former CEO of Google and Alphabet Corp. In this research, I explored Page's leadership approach and its profound impact on various elements such as the organizational background, context of leadership, leadership style, and culture at Google and Alphabet. I emphasized how Page exemplified Kouzes and Posner's Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership, illustrating key qualities like emotional intelligence, visionary thinking, the ability to inspire others, effective leadership during both favorable and challenging times, as well as talent development, recognition, and the creation of a winning culture. Additionally, I provide recommendations for enhancing his leadership style. Despite the imperfections in his approach, it is undeniable that Larry Page has established a new standard for leaders in the ever-evolving technology sector.
