Abstract
A method for the oxidation of 1,3,5-cycloheptatriene electrochemically is presented. This approach allows for the formation of numerous substituted derivatives in a clean, green way. Utilizing a bench-stable aminoxyl radical as an electrocatalyst, this technique is applicable for a diverse range of substrates, showcasing the versatility of electrochemistry in organic synthesis.
