Abstract/Description

This dataset consists of 50 experimental CR2032 coin cells fabricated in a laboratory setting with varying electrode configurations. Materials include single-side-coated lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) and graphite electrodes from MTI Corporation, Celgard 2400 polymer separator, and electrolyte components from Sigma-Aldrich. There are 15 half-cells (8 LFP half-cells and 7 graphite half-cells) and 35 full-cells with various electrode area and stoichiometry configurations for assembly. Most cells were cycled with constant-current protocols at a C/20 rate, except for three graphite half-cells, which were cycled at a C/30 rate. More details on the experimental procedures can be found in the README file, and the application of degradation diagnostics via half-cell model fitting is described in Li et al. (DOI: 10.1016/j.etran.2026.100593).
