Abstract
Educators indicate that using data to inform instruction is a necessary component of effective teaching (DQC, 2018). i-Ready is an educational product designed to assist teachers with using data to inform curricular changes. Teachers’ beliefs and behaviors regarding i-Ready are factors in student achievement. A latent profile analysis was conducted to evaluate “types” of teachers based on their i-Ready beliefs and behaviors. Four classes of teachers were identified. Future studies will be geared toward collecting validity evidence to support the four classes.
