Philosophy of The Quiet Corner Interdisciplinary Journal
The Quiet Corner is an open access journal. For more information, please see The Quiet Corner Interdisciplinary Journal Aims and Scope page.
Who Can Submit?
Any graduate student may submit an original article to be considered for publication in The Quiet Corner Interdisciplinary Journal provided they own the copyright to the work being submitted or are authorized by the copyright owner or owners to submit the article.
Submitted articles cannot have been previously published or forthcoming publication in another journal or book. Publication in a working-paper series does not constitute prior publication. In submitting material to The Quiet Corner Interdisciplinary Journal, the author is confirming that the material is not currently under review at another journal and that they will not submit the material to another journal until the completion of the editorial decision process at The Quiet Corner Interdisciplinary Journal. If you have concerns about the submission terms for The Quiet Corner Interdisciplinary Journal, please contact the editors.
The Quiet Corner Interdisciplinary Journal requests that all materials be submitted in a single Word document formatted in accordance with either MLA or APA guidelines, depending upon the demands of the author's particular discipline. See Final Manuscript Preparation Guidelines for further details.
